1 artwork(s)Not many are the urban art artists who have specialized in the technique of trompe-l'oeil. This is the case of Zag, who since 2013 has been delighting us with great technical achievements and whose favorite support is the staircase.
The practice of anamorphosis (pictorial work whose forms are distorted in such a way that it only regains its true configuration when viewed from a particular angle) makes the visual experience even more interesting.
Mastering these different techniques requires solid experience. The development of a realization requires taking precise measurements, both of the model to be reproduced and of the support, and to implement complex calculations. A real challenge that the artist likes to take up.
Sia plays the role of «Artist-Muse» for Zag, she inspires him, she often serves as his model, and assists him at all stages of the process. The works of Zag and Sia are mainly found in Brittany (Zag lives in Morlaix) and in Paris (Sia lives there). In July 2019, Sia announces the end of the duo. Zag leaves to work solo - or with others...
